CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The 10th Annual #Race4Wanza Doughnut Dash 5k, is just a week away and as the date gets closer, two key organizers joined “Good Morning Charleston” Friday to help get everyone excited about the upcoming race.
Board member of the race, Daniel Stern and Co-founder of the race AJ Harley are working to put on the 5k in honor of TyWanza Sanders, the youngest victim of the 2015 Mother Emanuel Church Massacre.
Though the race is now far from its humble beginnings, Harley reminisces that the community’s support has shocked them all as the love and memory of Sanders continues on…
