It continues to be a tough time for Grand Rapids area restaurants.
Recently we’ve told you about several local eateries closing their doors, including House of Wine and Creston Brewery. Now the owner of multiple Mediterranean restaurants has announced that one is shutting down.
Thaer Abel Al-Abboudi first opened 616 Kabob Stop Express on 48th Ave. in Allendale back in 2020. On the menu you’d find kabobs, shawarma, falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, and more.

In 2023 he expanded with a new restaurant, 616 Kabob Stop, in Grand Rapids’ Creston neighborhood.
