According to an announcement on the Miami-Dade County website, the event celebrates the launch of a 200-unit development aimed at offering reasonably priced living options to families in South Miami-Dade. A ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion is set for April 24 and will feature key local government figures such as Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and Vice Chairman Kionne L. McGhee from the Board of County Commissioners.
The initiative, which is part of a larger six-phase redevelopment plan, is expected to continue with the second phase, the groundbreaking for which occurred in August 2024. The project’s progressive phases appear to steadfastly commit to enhancing community living standards and fostering sustainable growth. As the inaugural BRT service in the County is slated to commence this summer, Quail Roost Station, located on SW 184th Street, boasts direct access to the new Bus Rapid Transit system, hoping to ease transportation woes for its residents.
Quail Roost Station offers a mix of 200 units, ranging from studios to five-bedroom family dwellings. Designed with diverse family needs in mind, the development includes communal amenities such as a community room, business center, and fitness facilities.
