2 charged with committing 2 armed robberies aboard Red Line train

Two men have been jailed on robbery charges after prosecutors accused them of robbing two separate passengers aboard a Red Line train at 87th Street.

Officers patrolling the area were waved down by two victims, ages 25 and 27, who both reported being robbed around 9:45 p.m. on April 9, a Chicago police report said. The victims told the cops that both robbers went to a nearby gas station.
