Fatal head-on collision in Appanoose County Iowa kills one and injures three

A head-on crash in Appanoose County, Iowa, claimed the life of a man from Milo and injured three others Thursday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 4:07 p.m. on April 17 in the 26900 block of Highway T30. Investigators said a 2003 Buick LeSabre, driven westbound by 59-year-old Wesley Laverne Devore of Milo, crossed the centerline and collided head-on with an eastbound 2002 Chevrolet Express van driven by 55-year-old Jonathan Wayne Dorman of Exline.

Devore, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was transported to the medical examiner by Thomas Funeral Home…
