YORK, Neb. (KOLN) — Three children were pulled from an apparently filthy and dangerous home near York last week, according to deputies.
Their caretaker, 26-year-old Grace Murray, was also taken into custody and charged with three felony counts of child abuse. An investigation was launched into Murray’s home after a 4-year-old girl showed up to preschool with bruising, court records show.
Earlier this year, a 4-year-old girl got on a bus headed for school, and a worker noticed she had bruising on her left cheek.
