WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Police are at the scene of a triple shooting that happened in Southeast D.C. on Friday afternoon.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) confirmed that three people were shot, including two men and one boy. Police responded to the scene in the 1300 block of Congress Street SE shortly before 12:30 p.m., but later determined the shooting happened in the 1300 block of Savannah Place SE.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other man and the juvenile took themselves to the hospital. They were reportedly conscious and breathing.
