Incline Village woman identified as homicide victim; suspect arrested in California

The Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the woman found dead in her Incline Village home on April 10 as 25-year-old Karen Herrera-Ramon.

Authorities pronounced Herrera-Ramon dead at the scene, and the Medical Examiner’s Office determined her death to be a homicide caused by multiple sharp force injuries.

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as Manuel Lopez-Gomez. After his identification, authorities circulated a description of Lopez-Gomez, his vehicle, and his last known direction of travel to nearby law enforcement agencies…
