Buffalo, NY – The National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for Erie and Chautauqua Counties, including the cities of Buffalo, Jamestown, and surrounding areas, effective until 8 PM EDT this evening.
According to the Weather Service, dense fog is reducing visibility to as low as one-quarter mile along the immediate Lake Erie shoreline. This includes major roadways, such as Interstate 90 from Ripley to Buffalo and the city of Buffalo itself. Drivers are urged to proceed with caution.
