FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (April 18, 2025) —Pfeiffer struggled to cash in on several offensive opportunities, leaving 10 runners on base in a 7-4 defeat at the hands of the Methodist Monarchs on Friday afternoon in the first game of a USA South series at Armstrong-Shelley Field in Fayetteville, N.C.
Thad Lewis (4-3) started for Pfeifferand took the loss on the mound for Pfeiffer (11-21, 7-9). Cayman Buck was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going four innings, surrendering one run on three hits, walking one and striking out six.
