MURRELLS INLET, S.C. (WPDE) — The South Strand Assembly of God hosted its sixth annual glow-in-the-dark easter egg hunt Friday in Murrells Inlet.
The event featured the glow-in-the-dark egg hunt, games, an easter gospel message for children and inflatables outside.
“We’re glad that we have an opportunity to make a difference in the community here. You know South Strand has been a part of the community since 1983. It was founded by our current pastor and his wife so long ago, and their heart is for the community and their heart is for children and for watching those come up in the lord and having their lives transformed by what God can do in it if just given a chance,” John Hayes, associate pastor at South Strand Assembly of God, said…
