The countdown is on! From May 10–18, the Santa Barbara Culinary Experience (SBCE) returns for a week-long celebration of everything we love about food, wine, community, and the stunning Central Coast.
In partnership with The Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and the Culinary Arts, SBCE is more than just a collection of events—it’s a mission to uplift Santa Barbara County’s culinary, hospitality, artisan, and small business communities. Through thoughtfully curated programming, this experience fosters learning, connection, and discovery—all while supporting local nonprofits that are improving our regional food system.
As the new Director of SBCE, I’ve had the joy (and challenge!) of curating over 70 events for this year’s experience, including the incredible Grand Wine Tasting on May 17th. With my background as a local wine presenter and founder of @PetiteWineTraveler, my goal was to create events that are immersive, fun, and truly reflective of what makes this region so special.
