Showers and storms have started to develop across the Tri-State and will be with us for the majority of the evening. Some of these storms have the potential to be strong, possibly severe.
The Storm Prediction Center has the majority of the Tri-State placed in their “SLIGHT RISK” for severe storms this afternoon. The primary threat with these storms will be damaging wind gusts of 60+ mph. There is a chance we could see some hail, but that potential is limited.
Showers and storms will move through the area quickly, but we could have a wave or two. That means they will stick around into the evening and early into the overnight. Temperatures, where it doesn’t rain, will likely sit in the mid to upper 70s. Wind from the west will be around 10 mph…
