COLUMBIA, S.C. — Officials say a fire caused heavy damage inside a Rosewood Drive store on Saturday afternoon.
The fire happened around 5:30 p.m. at the Dollar Tree store on Rosewood Drive. A spokesperson for the Columbia-Richland Fire Department said the first crews to respond found black smoke coming out of the front of the building.
Further investigation revealed that a fire had occurred in an aisle inside the store and spread to the attic. Crews quickly brought the fire under control after entering the building…
