Villages insurance agent sells 72-acre horse farm for $12 million

A well-known insurance agent in The Villages just sold her 72-acre equestrian estate in Marion County for $12 million, about 11 years after she and her late husband purchased the property for 10 times less.

Connie Duff Wise sold the 72.37-acre estate known as Crane Hill Farm to Howdy Pardner, LLC, for $12 million on April 16, according to a deed filed with the Marion County Clerk of Courts.

Located at 12625 S. Highway 475 in Ocala, Wise and her late husband, John Frank Wise III, purchased the property for $1.2 million in March 2014.
