High temperatures on Easter Sunday will climb into the low to mid-60s, which is near average for this time of year. There will be a gusty breeze with sustained winds at 15 to 25 miles per hour, and gusts potentially as strong as 35 miles per hour.
Dry weather and a mostly sunny sky will be with us on Easter as high pressure builds over New England.
On Marathon Monday temperatures are expected to reach the low 60s in Rhode Island. Highs in Boston will likely top out in the mid-50s on Monday, and temperatures could even drop into the 40s in the late afternoon.
An area of low pressure passes north of the region Monday night, pushing a warm front eastward across Southern New England early Tuesday. That warm front could bring rain showers early Tuesday morning before 8 a.m.
Behind the warm front, highs will soar back into the 70s Tuesday afternoon, which is our next shot at a 70+ degree day…
