Green Bay, Wisconsin – Expect umbrellas and windshield wipers to get a workout this Easter as multiple rounds of rain and gusty winds move into Wisconsin starting Sunday evening.
According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, rain is expected to begin after 5 p.m. Sunday, becoming widespread after 7 p.m. Showers will continue through Monday, accompanied by southeast winds gusting up to 22 mph. Drivers using I-43 and other local roadways should plan for slick conditions, especially Sunday night into Monday morning. Isolated ponding on roads is possible due to saturated soil and ongoing showers.
Rain will ease slightly Monday night before another chance of showers arrives Tuesday afternoon. While rainfall amounts are not expected to be severe, the repeated wet conditions could affect commute times and outdoor spring activities, especially near the Fox River and other low-lying areas.
