Little Rock event offers free health screenings and resources for underserved communities

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — The inaugural Community Health Fair and Baby Shower, taking place Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is a free public event hosted by local minority-focused health organizations including the Little Rock Black Nurses Association of Arkansas, Arkansas Birthing Project, Arkansas Minority Health Commission and Watershed Human and Community Development Agency.

It will provide vital health screenings, pregnancy and wellness resources, along with connections to nearly 30 vendors offering health education, support services and door prizes.
