Severe thunderstorm & tornado risk rises in Texas into early Easter Sunday morning

STORM PREDICTION CENTER RAISES RISK IN TEXAS TO ENHANCED ALONG WITH ELEVATED TORNADO RISK

Conditions for severe thunderstorms and tornadoes has increased as we move through this Saturday afternoon & overnight into early Sunday morning across much of Texas. The Storm Prediction Center has added an “enhanced” risk or a 30 percetn chance for severe thunderstorms over much of Central Texas. Areas to the east and west of this zone are in a “slight risk” or 15 percent chance. We also see that the Storm Prediction Center has raised the risk for some tornadoes to a range of 2 to 5 percent. The risk zone also extends northeastward into Oklahoma & Arkansas.
