2025 Will See a New Trader Joe’s in Colorado

Trader Joe’s locations in Colorado will be growing closer to 10 by the end of 2025, with one set to open before the end of the year.

Trader Joe’s Headed to Westminster, Colorado

As of spring of 2025, there are only seven Trader Joe’s across Colorado, which seems silly, as so many people love them. This one will bring more opportunities for those in Northern Colorado to appreciate them.

In February of 2015, Trader Joe’s opened its sixth location in Colorado, in Fort Colllins. Located in The Square, Trader Joe’s took over what was Corral West, for many years.

Trader Joe’s seems to be one of those classic, “if you know, you know” kind of places. Until you’ve shopped at one, maybe gotten some of that inexpensive wine, you really don’t have any idea how “cool” it is. I can attest to that; until I went inside one, I was oblivious.

Trader Joe’s date back to 1967 and Pasadena, California, when Joe Coulombe opened his first store. The late 60s.. California… you can only imaging the items available inside that spot. Nearly 60 years later, Westminster is slated to be the location store number eight for the state…
