Good morning! Happy Easter!
The sun was beautiful Saturday, but highs *only* got into the mid 60s… A big change from our six-day stretch of 70s last week! We also had some stronger gusts around 30+ mph around the metro yesterday afternoon.
If you have outdoor Easter plans today, I have good news and bad news. The bad news is temperatures will stay in the 50s and it will likely be our coolest day this week. The good news is, I don’t think there will be heavy rain, downpours or any weather that’s significant enough to cancel events!
A passing, stray drizzle can’t be ruled out at any point today… But the best chance is around 12-4 p.m. Bring a light rain jacket for outdoor activities. The maximum amount of rain we’ll pick up through Monday morning is 0.10″, and up to 0.30″ in the Cascade Foothills. Locations south of Salem will be mainly dry with a few more sunbreaks…
