BUMBLE BEE, Ariz. — A man was missing for two days in the wilderness after he and his wife’s Jeep broke down near Bumble Bee, according to officials with the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said the couple was exploring the terrain when their Jeep broke down, so the man told his wife he would walk into town and find help. The woman, after spending the night in the Jeep, was able to get in touch with family members the next morning. They tried to find the man with no luck, so they called the sheriff’s office.
“The teams searched overnight in the storm but could not find him,” a statement from the sheriff’s office said. “In the morning, when the weather cleared, the DPS Ranger helicopter was able to fly overhead.”…
