Father and son linked to proposed large Murfreesboro sports park indicted in fraud charges

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Two men involved in the proposed multi-million dollar Murfreesboro sports park are facing charges involving fraud, among others, after their first park in Arizona failed.

The former chairman and CEO of a company behind the proposed development of a 260-acre sports and entertainment complex in Murfreesboro and Rutherford County were recently indicted.

On April 1, the United States Attorney’s Office said 70-year-old Randy Miller, the former Chairman and President of Legacy Sports, and his son, 41-year-old Chad Miller, the former CEO of Legacy Sports, were accused of engaging in a scheme to defraud investors of more than $280 million in bond funding…
