Students showcase their work at Cypress Dome launch party

UCF students and faculty gathered to celebrate the launch of the 36th issue of the university’s literary magazine, Cypress Dome, on Monday in Classroom Building II.

Four students whose works were published in the magazine read their stories or poems to a large audience of over 30 attendees. The readers included junior creative writing major Erik Leon, junior business marketing Aaliyah Ali, creative writing major Isabella Martorano and senior video game design major Lee Eimer.

The room was decorated to reflect the theme of the magazine, “Grow Through the Years.” A large tree branch was used to represent the magazine, with past editions of the magazine tied to it.
