Drivers around Yolo County should prepare for some disruptions next week, with road closure plans confirmed by the county’s Flood Control and Water Conservation District and Public Works Division. A deteriorating culvert pipeline on County Road 96, located approximately three miles northwest of Davis, is set for a much-needed overhaul. The repair work is scheduled to take place from tomorrow through Wednesday, according to the Yolo County website on Thursday.
The replacement work will require a full closure of County Road 96 between County Roads 29 and 30, beginning at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow and continuing through 5:00 p.m. Wednesday. According to the announcement, the Yolo County Public Works Road Maintenance crew will implement traffic management to guide commuters through the affected area.
