Help cleanup the Riverwalk and Hillsborough River on Earth Day
The event kicks off with check-in at 8 a.m., and the cleanup runs until 11 a.m. You can register in advance online. Volunteers will help remove litter, beautify downtown Tampa, and contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable city. Whether you’re walking the path or paddling the river (yes, kayakers are welcome—just bring your own vessel), your time and energy will make a visible difference along the waterway.
This hands-on effort is a collaboration between Friends of the Riverwalk, Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful, and the City of Tampa. It’s part of the Trash Free Waters Program, a nationwide initiative that brings people together to tackle pollution at its source—on land and in our waterways.
