Tornado Watch in Effect

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – In the midst of a rainy Easter Sunday, a Tornado Watch has been issued for our southern counties.

As storms move north from Missouri into southeast Iowa this evening, some of the storms could be strong. Primary threats include damaging wind, large hail, and a few isolated tornadoes.

What to do when severe weather threatens

If a storm approaches your area, seek shelter indoors. If a warning is issued, get to the lowest floor of your home, away from windows.
