Tornado Watch for 5.1 Million: Missouri, Arkansas Among 6 States at Risk This Easter Until 7 p.m.

Kansas City, Mo. – More than 5.1 million people across six states are under a Tornado Watch until 7 p.m. this Easter Sunday, as severe storms threaten parts of Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, and Kansas with several tornadoes, ping-pong ball-sized hail, and 70 mph wind gusts.

According to the National Weather Service in Kansas City, the watch spans from Columbia and Springfield in Missouri to Shreveport, Louisiana, and includes major cities like Joplin, Fort Smith, Little Rock, Texarkana, and Tulsa. The zone of concern stretches along key highways including I-44, I-49, and I-40, where fast-moving storms may trigger rapid tornado development.
