PEORIA, Ariz. — A man is dead after a jet ski overturned at Lake Pleasant, authorities said.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said a married couple had rented a jet ski from Scorpion Bay Marina on Sunday afternoon. The jet ski seemed to be malfunctioning and the man attempted to turn around and drive back when they were both thrown from the watercraft.
“When (the woman) got her bearings about her, she noticed her husband was face down in the water. She attempted to roll him over. She couldn’t get him rolled over,” MCSO public information officer David Moyer said…
