KENT COUNTY, Mich. — Two people are dead after separate pedestrian crashes Sunday night, the Kent County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) told 13 ON YOUR SIDE.
KCSO Sgt. Scott Dietrich said both crashes happened on 36th Street and were unrelated.
The first crash happened about 10 p.m. in the 6600 block of 36th Street SE near the ramp to I-96, KCSO said. A 54-year-old Grand Rapids man was hit by a vehicle driven by a 74-year-old Marquette man. The Grand Rapids man was pronounced dead at the scene…
