Oregon State Police seeking suspect after 60-mile chase

FLORENCE, Ore. – Oregon State Police are looking for the driver of a pick-up truck that led troopers on a chase on Sunday for more than 60 miles from Cheshire to Florence.

According to OSP logs, at about 10:46 a.m. on April 20, a trooper spotted a truck near Cheshire that had been involved in an attempt to steal a trailer earlier that day. OSP logs said that when the trooper tried to stop the truck, the driver sped off. The trooper chased the truck for about 60 miles before Florence police used a spike strip to stop the truck near Eighth Street and Highway 101 in Florence…
