Sandy Springs mother charged in baby’s death found not guilty by reason of insanity

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A Sandy Springs woman who was accused of killing her 1-year-old child was found not guilty by reason of insanity, according to court records.

Asia Calabrese-Lewis was initially charged with felony murder and cruelty to children in connection to the death of Nirvana Oliver.

Oliver was found dead in a retention pond in 2023…
