Due to “violence in other townhalls,” the Cobb County School District has postponed its upcoming series of safety seminars.
In March, Superintendent Chris Ragsdale announced the district was partnering with Servius Group — the private intelligence firm the district has tapped to conduct “threat assessments” at schools with military-trained counterintelligence experts — for a series of “critical educational sessions.”
The first session was originally scheduled for Monday, April 28 at Hillgrove High School. Ragsdale said it would tackle the commercial sexual exploitation of children and teach parents “about the risk, the warning signs and the steps we can all take to stop its spread here in Cobb.”…
