A Denton County Commissioner is hospitalized, and her husband was killed after they were both stabbed by their grandson early Monday morning, police say.
Denton County Commissioner for Precinct 3 Bobbie J. Mitchell was in stable condition Monday morning, while her husband, Fred Mitchell, died from his injuries, Lewisville police said. The incident happened at 3:53 a.m. in the 1000 block of Springwood Drive.
