2 teens facing multiple charges after High Point car break-ins: Police

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Two 14-year-old teens are facing multiple charges after a string of vehicle break-ins, according to the High Point Police Department.

Officers responded to Marywood Drive around 2:45 a.m. on April 18 following reports of individuals breaking into cars. When police got to the scene, two people got out of a parked vehicle and fled. Both suspects were quickly taken into custody.

Police say the teens were wearing masks and gloves. One of the suspects had removed his ankle monitor, according to police. Officers also found that one of the teens had a screwdriver…
