GREENSBORO, N.C. — California-based aircraft manufacturer JetZero is considering Greensboro as a possible site for its future factory, which would create 10,000 new jobs, the company confirmed to WFMY News 2.
Greensboro’s Piedmont Triad International Airport is one of five finalists for the factory. JetZero says it is in the final stages of the selection process and plans to pick its destination in the next six weeks.
JetZero was founded in Long Beach, California, in 2021. The company is known for its blended-wing-body plane which the company plans to have in service by 2030. JetZero has already partnered with companies like Delta and Alaska Airlines to bring the new design to commercial aircraft…
