VENICE, Fla. (WWSB) — Authorities are investigating a man apparently shot to death in a Venice parking lot early Tuesday.
Detectives from the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office were seen combing the Court House Plaza at 3980 S Tamiami Trail. the parking lot was closed off with crime scene tape, from about 2 a.m. until just after 8 a.m. today.
At least 10 crime scene markers were placed on the ground. A bike and a bag also remained on the sidewalk in front of the shops where the investigation was taking place…
