‘Tragic, terrible day’: FSU Board of Trustees reflects on campus shooting, shares new timeline of events

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – In a Florida State University Board of Trustees meeting Tuesday, FSU Police Chief Jason Trumbower shared an updated timeline of last week’s deadly shooting on campus outside the student union.

The Board of Trustees observed a moment of silence at the start of their meeting to reflect on Thursday’s deadly shooting that killed two people and injured six others, including the gunman, 20-year-old FSU student Phoenix Ikner.

Since then, five patients have been released from Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and are expected to make a full recovery. A sixth patient remains hospitalized in good condition, TMH confirmed Tuesday…
