WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Your First Alert Forecast opens on this Tuesday afternoon with balmy southwesterly breezes and highs once again in the 80s. As high pressure moves away, a slowing frontal system will result in an opportunity for slim chances for a shower or gusty storm, with the greatest chance back near the I-95 corridor. As the front comes to a halt, rain chances will spring to around 50% for Wednesday and Wednesday night before settling to a more modest 30-40% for Thursday, and 20-30% for Friday.
