4 seriously injured Monday night in head-on crash in Wichita involving a KHP vehicle

WICHITA, Kan. (WIBW) – Four people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle, head-on collision involving a Kansas Highway Patrol motorist-assist vehicle Monday night on Wichita’s south side, officials said.

The crash was reported at 8:22 p.m. Monday on Interstate 235 near W. MacArthur Road.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2007 Volvo XC-90 sport utility vehicle was northbound on I-235 when it crossed the median and entered the southbound lanes, where it collided head-on with a 2019 Ford F-250 pickup truck…
