DENVER ( KDVR ) — An 18-year-old repeat offender is facing charges of first-degree attempted murder in a shooting at an Aurora gas station that was caught on camera.
On Tuesday, the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office said Mark Jackson was charged with the following:
- Twelve counts of first-degree attempted murder
- First-degree assault
- Thirteen counts of crime of violence
- Possession of a dangerous weapon
- Possession of a weapon by a previous offender
- Criminal mischief
On April 4 at around 10 p.m., Aurora police were called to a gas station in the 3200 block of North Peoria Street for a shooting.
The victims said they were filming a music video when several rounds were fired from a white SUV driving south on Peoria Street. The victims released the music video to the police, where the rapid-fire shots can be heard.
