NEW MARKET, Ala. (WAFF) – One person was transported to the hospital after a house caught fire in New Market on Tuesday morning.
Officials on the scene say a tree that was struck by lightning fell over and sparked the house fire on St. Clair Drive.
The only person in the house was able to get out and was transported to Huntsville Hospital with minor injuries.
Officials say the home is a total loss…
