A fatal crash in Will County, Illinois has resulted in the arrest of a California truck driver who is accused of taking meth and causing a fatal crash that took the life of a 40-year-old Chicago man.
The Public Information Office of the Illinois State Police released details today from a horrific accident that occurred on April 16, 2025 at the intersection of Illinois 394 and Burrville Road in Crete, Illinois.
The report says that 40-year-old Joshua D. Kutz of Chicago was driving a Chevy Malibu southbound on Illinois 394. 58-year-old William D Fanning of Rancho Cucamonga, California was reportedly traveling eastbound on Burrville Road when the semi he was driving allegedly failed to yield while turning left, causing the front end of the Chevrolet to strike the semi’s trailer.
