PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A man has pleaded guilty to assault in the second degree constituting domestic violence, following a harrowing incident in which he slashed the throat of his intimate partner in front of their children.
The plea was entered on April 18. Manuel Jesus Huchin-Interian will face a sentence of 70 months, over five and a half years, in prison followed by three years of post-prison supervision.
