Something new has been announced by UPMC Hamot’s Jameson School of Nursing. It’s going to be getting a little easier to become a registered nurse in Erie.
UPMC Hamot’s nursing school has just been approved by the state to offer apprenticeships at its Jameson School.

It’s the first of its kind in Pennsylvania. Current LPNs, who would like to advance their careers to become RNs, can now earn while they learn.
It’s called the Registered Nurse Resident program and it will begin this fall…
