Portsmouth Police seek suspect in hit-and-run incident

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Portsmouth Police are searching for a suspect involved in a hit-and-run they said is now missing.

According to officials, 50-year-old David Lewis Lodge was last seen in the 4100 block of King Street between 5-7 p.m. on Oct. 20, 2024. Police said he may have left in a BMW. Lodge is facing several charges, including hit-and-run, two counts of failure to appear, petit larceny, obstruction and driving after forfeit of license.

Lodge is described as 6-feet-3-inches and weighing approximately 225 pounds. He has blue eyes and blonde hair. A photo of Lodge can be found below:
