WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A 911 call placed by the alleged shooter who caused a shelter-in-place in a neighborhood in Wilmington has been released.
In the call, David Jacobs tells the operator he wanted to explain why he fired the gun. The operator presses him to explain when he hesitates.
“I need someone to come in and talk with me. What’s going on here is I need to defend myself and my apartment from an unknown [force]. I’ve got video footage of it is what I’m saying for anyone to look at,” Jacobs said…
