The Omaha City Council approved $10 million in interim funding for the CHI Health Center expansion and renovation. The city has committed to finance up to $100 million for the project, while MECA has committed to raise an additional $75 million from private resources. The $10 million that the city will contribute at this time allows the project to continue moving forward as the city prepares bond issuances.
