A summer packed with free events begins this weekend at Guthrie Green, starting with a performance from Los Angeles-based band Sammy Rae & Friends. The concert is the first in the park’s seasonal “Off the Cuff” series, pending weather conditions.

A Summer of Music and More
Guthrie Green’s “Off the Cuff” concert series returns this year, offering a diverse lineup of musicians. The first show, scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 7 p.m., features Sammy Rae & Friends, known for their indie-alternative style and high-energy performances, and local band Count Tutu as the opener.
The park’s booking and programming manager, Derek Combs, said this four-part series builds on past concerts featuring artists like Kurt Vile, Washed Out and Lucinda Williams.

Beyond the concerts, Guthrie Green has a full slate of weekly events, including:
