Spokane mayor signs ‘Ban the Address’ ordinance for job applicants

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Mayor Lisa Brown signed a first-in-the-nation ordinance aimed at getting rid of barriers to employment for homeless individuals.

The ‘Ban the Address’ ordinance would prohibit employers from requiring an address on job applications.
